Manchester United have been linked with Angel di Maria from Real Madrid for much of this summers transfer window, a move that is seemingly looking more likely after Marid Boss Carlos Ancelotti confirmed that he has asked to leave.
It was reported last week that Ed Woodward and Manchester United were preparing a £50million bid for the Argentinean midfielder, while offering him personal terms of up to £200,000-a-week.
Manchester United have a war-chest of money to spend this transfer window, according to Woodward himself. This week they have signed Marcos Rojo from Sporting Lisbon to add to previous signings Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw.
Angel Di Maria would be a great addition to the United squad, especially under Louis van Gaal. If the club are the make an official move, then now is the time to do so, especially after Ancelotti’s comments.
“Di María has asked to leave & rejected offer from club. [But] if he does not find future solution he stays no problem”
“Khedira has one more year & has rejected new deal. It is different than Di Maria as he has not asked to leave.”
