Marcos Rojo last night completed the first part of his medical with Manchester United, on his way to becoming their forth signing of the summer.
Rojo flew into Manchester airport just before 10:30pm BST before being whisked off to Bridgewater Hospital in the centre of Manchester to take a three-hour medical to assess the players fitness, a medical in which he passed.
The second part of his medical takes place on Wednesday morning at Manchester United’s training ground where the club have facilities to obtain their own medical results by putting the player himself through his passes behind closed doors.
Rojo signs a four-year contract and could well feature in United’s fixture against Sunderland away this Sunday.
