It has been a busy few days for Manchester United legend Paul Scholes, on Thursday evening he played 90-minutes in a fundraising match which saw the Class of 92′ get back together against Salford City at the AJ Bell Stadium, and on Friday he was putting on the famous Manchester United shirt over in Munich in an eventful legends match.

United drew 3-3 with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena over in Germany, Scholes even getting on the score sheet himself, the other two goals from Andy Cole.

The Manchester United legends had much of the play from the start of the match and went in front after some fantastic skills by front-man Dwight Yorke, finding Lee Martin who crossed the ball in for Andy Cole to finish nicely past Bayern Munich keeper Hans-Jorg Butt.

Paulo Sergio equalised for Bayern in the 10th minute tucking the ball past Tomasz Kuszczak. Elber sent the home side ahead in the 21st minute before Paul Scholes himself pulled in back to 2-2 just five minutes later with a neat finish.

Zickler put hosts in-front before half-time after some questionable goalkeeping from Manchester United’s Kuszczak between the sticks.

The second half was pretty much a non-event as both teams began to tire, but Manchester United were not finished, Andy Cole finished off a nice move and cross from Jesper Blomqvist to make it 3-3 before the close of play.
