After having a break since the World Cup over in Brazil, both Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj are now back in training at Carrington in preparation for the new 2014/15 season with Manchester United, and manager Louis van Gaal hasn’t ruled them both out on starting against Swansea City on the opening day.
While the rest of the Manchester United squad are preparing for tonight’s final against Liverpool over in Miami in the International Champions Cup, Fellaini and Januzaj are having their every move at Carrington monitored by back-room staff and coach Marcel Bout, who Louis van Gaal had sent back from the US to train those that have been on holiday, alongside youth and reserve coach, Nicky Butt.
The special group of players that are being monitored will be joined today by Robin van Persie, who returns to Carrington after a long holiday after his national side came third in the World Cup over in Brazil.
Speaking in his last press conference of the US tour, Louis van Gaal said:
“I sent Marcel Bout back to train them with Nicky Butt in a special group.
“They could reach the first match [Swansea City]
