Shinji Kagawa offered way out of Manchester United from Spanish giants

It hasn’t really been the glittering career at Manchester United that all at the club and fans were hoping for in regards to Shinji Kagawa thus far, and now it seems that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are setting their sights on bringing the Japanese international to La Liga, according to the Express.

Shinji Kagawa joined Manchester United back in the summer of 2012, but has since failed to live up to expectations bought upon him after his fantastic form under Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund. Kagawa’s best performance in the red of United was getting a hat-trick against Norwich City at Old Trafford.

Over the past 12-months, Shinji Kagawa has struggled with injuries and niggles that have been keeping him out of the United squad, that and a constant fight for a first team place.

Kagawa is currently out in the United States on Manchester United’s pre-season tour, trying to impress new manager Louis van Gaal in training and during game time which he has been given. If he is not a ‘Louis van Gaal type of player’ and the manager doesn’t see him in his plans for next term then Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in taking the Japan international away from Old Trafford, in an valuation of around £14million.

Shinji Kagawa is not the only Manchester United player that they have been linked with this week, Javier Hernandez who’s future is now surely away from Old Trafford, is rumoured to be on the radar of the Spanish champions.
