The Manchester United summer transfer season of outgoings from the club could be starting soon, with forth choice striker Javier Hernandez on the list to leave. Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has shown a big interest in the Mexican forward and bringing him to the Spanish league this summer.
Javier Hernandez is currently over in the USA with Manchester United on their pre-season tour, but since joining up with squad late after being given holiday to recover from the World Cup, has just made two short appearances in their last two matches. Atletico Madrid would be a fantastic club for Hernandez.
Atletico Madrid boss Simoeone was recently asked and Javier Hernandez in a press conference, Simeone said:
“He’s a vertical player, he’s great in one-on-one situations and he’s someone who could be useful to any team.
“With Javier Hernandez and lots of other great players, anything is possible. We can’t close any door until the transfer window shuts.”
Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has made only 15 league starts for Manchester United in the last two seasons. Maybe it is time for him to leave, a fantastic character, who works hard for the badge on his chest. But, now it is time to move away from Old Trafford.
