It is not long to wait now, just three-weeks until Manchester United kick off their first pre-season with a match against LA Galaxy in the United States and only 45 days until the Barclays Premier League returns.
Manchester United and Louis van Gaal’s first match at Old Trafford is on the opening day of the fixture calendar, a clash against Wales outfit Swansea City.
In recent weeks, the Old Trafford groundsman had cut the grass on the pitch down to just one millimetre in an attempt for new fresh seed to have time to grow before the new season kicks off.
From brown patchy areas all over Old Trafford just 10-days ago, the pitch is now almost full green and playable once again. The following picture as posted on Manchester United’s Official social media, shows just how far the progress has come.
Roll on the new season!
