Wilfried Zaha signed for Manchester United back in January 2013 and despite impressing on last summers United pre-season tour has yet to cut the mustard as a first-team selection.
This summer, it is all change at Manchester United with the arrival of manager Louis van Gaal and a handful of signings that are sure to improve the squad depth of United after last season’s poor form, finishing 7th in the Premier League under David Moyes before he was sacked by the board just four matches before the end of the season.
This pre-season, Manchester United are to set off to the USA where they will play LA Galaxy, Roma, Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the Chevrolet cup, a launch tournament of the new United kit, sparking to start of Chevrolet’s seven-year deal with the club.
Wilfried Zaha has yet to be informed whether he will be apart of pre-season or next season’s plans as he will return after the summer break and his loan move to Cardiff City.
According to sources close to reporter Adam Crafton at the Daily Mail, Zaha’s preference is to remain with Manchester United next season rather than seek another loan move away from the club.
Last season under David Moyes, who seemed to not take a fancy to Wilfried Zaha both on and off the pitch, the England midfielder failed to start a single match in the English Premier League before being loaned out to Ole Gunner Solksjaer’s Cardiff City back in January.
Zaha failed to make a name for himself while on loan at Cardiff City, struggling with form in just a handful of appearances toward the end of the season.
The Manchester United squad fly out to America on 17th July 2014, do you think that Wilfried Zaha will be at the club for the tour and be given a chance to impress Louis van Gaal?
