Louis van Gaal to report direct to Carrington after World Cup

He has lead his Netherlands side so far to the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup over in Brazil, but new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly claimed that he report for work back in Manchester as soon as his International side are out, or end up winning the whole World Cup.

The finals of the tournament are on July 13th, leaving just five-days before the Manchester United squad fly out on their pre-season tour of America, with their first match against LA Galaxy on the 23rd July.

Louis van Gaal is eager to get started at Manchester United and start to mold his team for next season, which starts with a home fixture to Swansea City. During the World Cup he had left all the move and house choice in Manchester to his wife, so he may just arrive into Manchester and have a home and base to start his new role as Manchester United manager.

The Dutchman has already had a hand in the signings of midfielder Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao and Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, when the boss is back in Manchester no doubt there will be hopes for more transfer activity before the start of the season kicks off.
