It has been rumoured since the end of the lacklustre 2013/14 season ended against Southampton, but ex Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has tonight revealed that the club are set to sign Luke Shaw. Hopefully getting at least 10 years out of the 18-year-old.
If @ManUtd get 10 good yrs out of Luke Shaw then its a no brainer. Top class young player.

On Thursday night, it was rumoured that Luke Shaw had arrived into Manchester ahead of a pending medical before being officially announced as Manchester United’s latest signing, just hours after Ander Herrera had been announced.
A signing in the region of £30million and done so before Shaw and his family go on holiday, to return before Manchester United’s pre-season tour of America.
Rio Ferdinand’s tweets this evening confirm that that the signing is only hours away, also a player that we signed in the region of £32million back in 2002 and got 12 years of loyal service out of. If Luke Shaw is anything like Rio Ferdinand then the £30million transfer fee is a bargain for Manchester United.
