David Gill tells Sepp Blatter not to stand for FIFA re-election

Former Manchester United CEO has today walked out of a scheduled meeting with FIFA in Sao Paulo and reportedly has stated that Sepp Blatter should step down from his post after more media breaks over the corruption in football just days before the opening game of the World Cup.

David Gill is the Football Associations vice-chairman, calling for Sepp Blatter not to stand for re-election as FIFA President.

According to The Guardian, David Gill was massively critical of Sepp Blatter outburst at the start of the week that accused the British press of being racist and trying to undermine the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, calling the comments “totally unacceptable”.
