Manchester United willing to pay £43million for Cesc Fábregas?

It was the leading rumour from last summer that Manchester United were to sign Cesc Fabregas from FC Barcelona, after David Moyes and Ed Woodward made a number of increased bids for the former Arsenal midfielder. Rumours that have started again this week as speculation grows that Fabregas is on his way out of Barcelona.

In Wednesday’s media release of the Sport over in Spain, they report that Manchester United are ready to pay €53million (£43million) to bring Cesc Fabregas to Old Trafford.

At the start of this week, reports started to come out of Spain that FC Barcelona are now open to sell Cesc Fabregas this summer, cashing in on the former Arsenal captain with new manager Luis Enrique looking to make big changes for next season.

Louis van Gaal has made his feelings clear to the Manchester United board who he would like to bring into the club this summer, is Cesc Fabregas on that list? One thing that is for sure is that Fabregas is a huge talent and would be a fantastic addition to United’s squad.

The transfer rumours continue as this week alone Manchester United have been rumoured to have agreed deals for Toni Kroos and Luke Shaw.
