Video Goals: Chelsea 0-2 Man Utd

Manchester United moved to within two points of Chelsea and the top four with a comfortable 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire headed home in either half whilst David de Gea had the quietest game of his season so far as our goalkeeper wasn’t forced into a single save.

The home side did see Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud have goals overturned by VAR, for a shove and offside respectively.

Martial glanced home a header in the final minute of the first half following a phenomenal cross by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who had twisted Willian inside-out to create himself some space.

Harry Maguire’s first Premier League goal for Manchester United doubled our lead midway through the second half. The England international connected well with Bruno Fernandes’ inswinging corner, giving Willy Caballero no chance in the Chelsea goal.

Whilst the three points do move us to within two of Chelsea, we are still down in seventh, below Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United in the race for a Champions League place.
