Manchester United English shot stopper Dean Henderson has joined Sheffield United on loan for the 2018/2019 season.
Dean Henderson a Manchester united youth graduate played last season with Shrewsbury Town. He shown brilliantly last season and even played in the EFL Trophy final against Lincoln City.
With Spanish international De Gea in goal for United, Dean who recently signed a long-term deal with Manchester united till the 2020 would see his progression in the Championship side with playing time available to him.
The 6ft 3 goal keeper with a total of 13 international caps for the English youth team could see his stock rise in the Championship side. Sheffield united finished 10th in 2017/2018 season would be keen on promotion this season.
Henderson joined Manchester united aged 14 and had his first call -up to senior Manchester united game against Shrewsbury Town in an FA Cup fixture. Manchester United ran out 3 – 0 with the prolific goal keeper on the bench.
The 21 years old had loan spells at Stockport County where he made an impressive stat of 9 appearances with 3 clean sheets before going on loan to Grimsby Town a League two club in 2016.
Last season was impressive for the young English goalkeeper as the Whitehaven born keeper was part of the League one PFA Team of the year.
