An old rumour linking Wale and Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale to Old Trafford has been given a fresh lease of life on Sunday night.
According to Daily Star, Manchester United have reignite their interest in signing Bale and Jose Mourinho is putting pressure on the club hierarchy to get the deal done this January transfer window.
The Portuguese tactician has made no secret of his intention to strengthen his squad this winter especially at the wide wing and left-back.
Mourinho has been big fan of the former Tottenham star and now wants him at Old Trafford to spark up his attack.
Bale joined Madrid in a world record fee of £85m from Tottenham in 2013.
Since his arrival at Santiago Bernabeu, the Welsh man has helped the La Liga giants won three Champions League titles.
However, his persistence injury problem has been a frustration to Real Madrid and they would want to cash in on the player.

United were initially interested in signing Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid this January but his reported £400,000-a-week wage demand has made United to switch attention to Bale.
