Reports emerging from England claim that Manchester United have announced that their reserves team match against Swansea has been called off.
The Red Devils reserves were due to play Swansea in the Premier League 2 on Monday following the crucial Manchester derby today.
The club made the announcement via their official twitter handle revealing the bad weather condition in Wales and the north of England the reason for the action.
There was earlier fear that the Manchester derby could also be called off but it is set to go ahead according to report.
United will welcome the Citizens to Old Trafford this evening in a must win for Jose Mourinho side if they are to remain in the title race.
The Red Devils are already eight points behind City and a slip in tonight’s game will increase the gap to 11 points.
Manchester United will be without their midfield maestro Paul Pogba who starts his three match ban today.
