As January transfer window draws closer, various reports linking players in and out of Old Trafford are beginning to increase.
Latest report according to Goal claims that Manchester United are plotting move to sign Newell’s sensational star Luciano Cingolani.
The young midfielder currently plays for Newell’s under-16 level in the Argentinian Septima Division, where he has been making waves.
Luciano has helped his team won four of their six opening matches this season.
The Argentine impressive performance has caught the eye of Manchester United scouts and wants to include him in their growing youth ranks
Newell’s academy coordinator, Martin Mackey confirms the report when he said the Red Devils have indicted interest in Cingolani services but are yet to make any offer.
“When they got in touch, we wanted to say what type of proposal they had in mind and non has reached me. Said Mackey.
“When that happens the board of directors will analyse it and will then take the decision they deem necessary. But I do not want him to leave either.
The director however insisted he would oppose any attempt to sell any of his young talents.
“Whatever the payment is, I don’t want the youth players to leave. The first-teamers should be the ones to leave, those are the rules of the game” he added.
“but don’t let the youth kids leave. I don’t get any of the money that could come in, I work to get the kids into the first team”
