[TWEETS] Man United Fans Blasts United Star After Poor Performance Vs Zorya Luhansk

Manchester United supporters have vented their frustration at Marcus Rojo following his poor performance against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League last night.

With Daley Blind being rested and Luke Shaw out injured for the clash the Argentinean was handed a rare start by Mourinho but the left-back failed to take his opportunity.

Rojo’s lack of composure on the ball combined with his mistimed tackling led the United faithful to heavily criticise the defender whose days at Old Trafford now look surely numbered.

The 26-year-old joined United two years ago under the former head coach Louis Van Gaal but has since failed to live up to expectations at the theatre of dreams.

His poor reading of the game along with his accidental approach to defending has cost United dear over the last two seasons with the defender time and time against been caught out of position at the back when it matters most. Rojo is a player who has always had an error in his game and a player who if anything has gone backwards since his arrival and Mourinho simply cannot afford to have players like Rojo in his squad should he wish to take Manchester United back to the top.

With Luke Shaw and Daley Blind all now above Marcus Rojo in the pecking order at Old Trafford the Argentine will undoubtedly find game time hard to come by as the season progresses. He has been handed chances by Mourinho but has failed to repay the faith shown him by his new boss on each occasion.

He is a player that looks out of his depth and a player who when he January transfer window opens looks a near certainty to move on. It’s a transfer that ultimately just hasn’t worked out and a transfer that probably should never have happened in the first place.
