Feyenoord starlet Tahith Chong has openly stated that a move to Manchester United is imminent after speaking to the press in his homeland.
The 16-year old, who has also caught the eye of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City and plays primarily as a striker, looks set to seal a move to Old Trafford in the coming weeks after his club failed to move quickly enough to secure his services in the fiture.
Speaking to Elf Voetbal, the Dutchman had this to say on his impending move: “It was my intention to stay at Feyenoord, but no plan was made for me. When I said I wanted to leave, they made a plan. That was too late.
“At Manchester United I had a better feeling. You can feel it immediately when you walk in a club.”
Chong won’t be short on compatriots, with fellow countrymen Daley Blind and Timothy Fosu-Mensah both at the club for two seasons.
