Manchester United Foundation’s Dream Days

Footballers get a lot of criticism for their attitude and behaviour off the pitch however they often don’t get the credit they deserve with the charity work that goes on behind the scenes.

This week saw Manchester United Foundation’s biannual Dream Days event take place. Louis Van Gaal and the whole squad were on hand to meet fans from across the country with life-limiting illnesses.

Guests watched the first-team train from the balcony of the Jimmy Murphy Centre at the training ground before meeting their beloved United heroes, receiving autographs and posing for selfies.

This was the first such event attended by Van Gaal, he told manutd.com the importance attending events like this: “The players are role models to the fans and it’s good that they want to get involved. It’s not an obligation for them, they just do it and I’m very happy that they all came along to support this.”

Mohsin Tanveer, stole the show by presenting Van Gaal with that transfer wishlist. Van Gaal “Hummels, £36m; Clyne, £15m; Pogba, £75m; Bale, £120m; Memphis Depay, £30m; and Jackson Martínez, £25m.” Van Gaal advised that he will have a word with Ed Woodward.

I have attached a nice video produced by the club. I assure you that watching it is likely to make you fall in love with the current team more than you do probably do already after the past month of success.
