Manchester United’s Robin van Persie has been left leaving the Liberty Stadium on crutches after suffering a knock deep into the second-half, following the clubs 2-1 defeat.
Robin van Persie, coming back into the Manchester United squad against Swansea City after recovering from injury, was less than at 100% during the match with sloppy play though-out.
Deep into the second-half, after Manchester United were looking to get back into the match after seeing themselves 2-1 down, with no substitutions left, Robin van Persie went down after a challenge in the box. A challenge that has seemed to have resorted in the Netherlands International leaving back to Manchester on crutches and a protective boot.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was less than happy with the defeat “It’s amazing we have lost today. We’re not happy and we were not lucky… It’s disappointing.” he said.
