With only a few days to go until Manchester United are back in action in the Barclays Premier League, we look ahead to an away visit to Villa Park in Birmingham to face Aston Villa in the 3pm GMT kick-off. It has been been a fantastic week, news wise for Louis van Gaal, with Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao declaring themselves fit.
Last Sunday Manchester United were without any of their summer signings as they beat rivals Liverpool 3-0 at Old Trafford, this weekend could be all different, with the injured players coming back into the first-team.
Radamel Falcao has declared himself nearly 100% fit, and is more than in line for a start up front alongside the in form Robin van Persie with Wayne Rooney just behind replacing Juan Mata for this away clash.
We are hoping that Luke Shaw is set to return to the fold this weekend, if not then Ashley Young will continue at left-back against his former club. Rafael Da Silva coming back in at right-back with Rojo and Jones in the middle.
Of course, man of the moment, David De Gea keeps his place between the sticks. What do you think of the formation below? Comment in the United Ramble section at the bottom.
