Bumper New Deal For David De Gea On The Horizon
Manchester United are preparing to give Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea a bumper new deal in order to keep the star stopper at the club.
The 24-year-old only has 18 months remaining on his current deal with manchester united and has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid in recent times as a replacement for the aging Iker Casillas.
However, a report in The Sun claims that United will now offer the Spaniard a new five-year contract worth £36.4m to fend off interest from elsewhere.
De Gea initially made a slow start to life at Old Trafford following his £17.8m move from Atletico Madrid three years ago, but he has been in inspired form this season to win his side a number of points.
David De Gea next will be in action for the reds against Liverpool on Sunday, kick off at 1:30pm.
