Manchester United have today confirmed via social media that midfielder Ander Herrera will be out of action for “the next few weeks” with a fractured rib in which he picked up on the weekend at Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal’s first summer signing suffered a fractured rib on Saturday during Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over West Ham United, pulling up in the second half before coming off. The club and player have confirmed the bad news on Twitter, good new for United is that he may only miss the Everton match on Sunday with the International break after that.
