Wayne Rooney has issued a small statement on social media on Tuesday night after Manchester United’s 5-3 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League. United were fully in control of the match for 60-minutes, until the team folder and ended up losing the game, with Tyler Blackett seeing red and Jonny Evans being stretchered off and out for a month.
Rooney himself has come under criticism from the media and also United fans since his performance on Sunday, some suggesting that he should not be United captain anymore and there is no leaders on the pitch. Many have also written Manchester United off from getting into the top 4 this season after another defeat, a statement that Wayne Rooney himself does not believe is true.
