Manchester United’s next game against Queens Park Rangers comes the possibility of ManU’s first win of the season in Premier League play. The game also has Rio Ferdinand coming back to play his old team. Marcos Rojo could finally see his time to shine in the back field after finally getting his work permit. Louis Van Gaal has a couple options with what formation to use and what starting XI to put in.
Will Marcos Rojo, Dailey Blind, and Radamel Falcao Make their Red Devils debut this Sunday? This could be the first game we see the new signees for the first time play in a game for United. The best formation LvG could run to best use his new talent is a 4-3-3 instead of his traditional 5-3-2 he has ran every game so far. If Van Gaal decides to stick with his 5-3-2 there might not be room in the starting XI for all three strikers of RVP, Falcao, and Rooney. Falcao is considered to be one of the most prolific goal scorers in the world and can easily make his case to be in the starting XI for Van Gaal.
Queens Park Rangers are not going to be a team to be taken lightly. Some players that should be watched are Charlie Austin, Rio Ferdinand, and Robert Green. Charlie Austin has QPR’s lone goal this season and in 30 appearances last year he had 18 goals and is their leading goal scorer. Ferdinand should be watched since he is coming back to play his old team and might have something to prove. Robert Green is The goalkeeper for Queens Park and is a good shot stopper with good reflexes.
The big question coming into the game with everyone now fit is what formation and starting XI combination will Van Gaal choose. Louis Van Gaal has a good problem on his hands in the fact he has three good strikers but which ones will lead the attack. Will Wayne Rooney drop back to play midfield while RVP and Falcao lead the strike up front or maybe play all three strikers in front with a three man attack? This match could answer a lot of questions the supporters have and maybe show what the season truly has in store.
