Manchester United loanee happy with move to Burnley

Manchester United loanee Michael Keane is happy with his loan move to Burnley that was completed on the final day of the transfer window, not only that, but the youngster is confident that his loan spell can provide priceless Barclays Premier League experience.

Michael Keane moved to Turk Moor in a four-month loan deal agreement from Manchester United, one that he hopes to prove himself in the biggest tier of English football.

The 21-year-old has previously had loan moves to Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers, all over which were in the Championship at the time, but now Manchester United have agreed to see him have experience with Premier League new boy Burnley, to which Keane is delighted about.

Speaking with the Lancashire Telegraph, Michael Keane said:

“I didn’t have a clue until about 5 p.m. on deadline day, so it was all a bit of a rush and hectic but we managed to get the loan deal done in the end”

“I’m very happy about it, it should be a great experience for me in the Premier League so I’m really looking forward to it. I feel it’s the next step in my progression at that level.

“I think I’ve done pretty well in the Championship over the last two seasons when I’ve been out on loan there. But I’ve only played once in the Premier League before, so I’m looking forward to making that next step and playing some more.”
