Manchester United’s Pierluigi Gollini today completed a full medical and signed all the relevant paper-work to move out to to his home country Italy, to join club Hellas Verona with immediate effect.
It had been rumoured over the past few weeks that the transfer would take place, a move that was Officially announced on Wednesday morning.
Manchester United had previously signed Pierluigi Gollini from Fiorentina back in 2012, after a broken leg had delayed his medical and registration being completed six-months previous at the club.
Gollini made his debut for the under-18s in his very first month at the club against Stoke City.
Through his time at Manchester United, during the 2012/13 season he made more appearances than any other keeper for the Under-18 and also enjoyed a handful of appearances for the Under-21s and Reserves.
