Manchester United announced on Monday that they have signed up another multi-million pound sponsorship deal, this time with a Korean pharmaceutical company named Cho-A Pharm, the company now become the club’s Official Pharmaceuticals Partner in Korea and also over in Vietnam.
The Manchester United and Cho-A Pharm partnership will see the club’s logo, players and various imagery placed on Cho-A Pharm’s range of products including over-the-counter medicines in both countries.
Cho-A Pharm and Manchester United will collaborate in various activities during their multi-year deal, including various Manchester United Soccer School programmes around the World.
It is not yet known how much this deal is worth but there are no doubts that the United brand is still huge around the World despite the disappointing season under David Moyes and lack of UEFA Champions League football next season.
Manchester United’s Group Managing Director Richard Arnold said:
“With an on-going commitment to product innovation, coupled with a desire to be an industry-thought leader, Cho-A is a market leader in Korea and Vietnam.
“Cho-A has impressive plans to globalise its business and a commitment to empowering aspiring footballers in the two markets through the partnership with Manchester United. With over 40 million Manchester United followers in South Korea and Vietnam, Cho-A gives us another fantastic opportunity to engage our fans in the region.”
The club now have an Official partner for many products and services around the World, no doubt there will be more announced over the summer.
